Made with organic, unrefined Shea butter, it's extremely nourishing for damaged hair. Shea butter is known to have properties most similar to commercial heat protectants and silicones.  Shea butter naturally has thermal conductivity and is a natural replacement for the use of silicones found and used in most heat protectants. Silicone coats strands with a protective layer that is difficult for heat from a flat iron or hair straightener to penetrate and damage hair. Shea butter's natural properties act in a similar fashion.

 

The best thing about Organic Avocado oil is that it not only protects from heat from a flat iron, it also protects from damage from the sun! With natural properties similar to sunscreen, avocado oil protects hair from damaging UVA and UVB rays from the sun. It helps the shea butter stay fluffy and silky with a whipped consistency and has an extremely high smoke point; you can safely use it up to 520 degrees. Avocado oil is also extremely lightweight and isn't greasy so it's the ideal choice for non greasy, non weighed down hair. Avocado oil is also at the top of the list of foods contains the most amount of Vitamin E, making it exceptional for healthy, nourished hair.

 

We choose Organic Geranium  essential oil as it's especially effective for those with dry, damaged and color treated hair.
