ORGANIC BERGAMOT (Citrus Bergamia)

Due to its sunny and warming disposition, Bergamot helps people regain self-confidence and uplifts and refreshes the spirit. The gentle fragrance, like a bouquet of flower, evokes joy and warms the heart. Studies show that the aroma of Bergamot essential oil has the ability to lesson the formation of neural pathways for stress. Bergamot acts as a diversion in the neural pathway, allowing individuals a chance to intercept thoughts and prevent associated reactions such as stress, fear or anxiety, offering an opportunity to reteach the brain. Bergamot essential oil is named after the Italian city of Bergamo in Lombardy, where the first oil was sold. ORGANIC CARROT SEED (Daucus Carota)

Not to be confused with the ubiquitous orange vegetable nor the cheaper macerated carrot oil, this humble essential oil is packed with natural healing properties, dating back to the ancient Greeks and Indians. Traditionally known as "Queen Anne's Lace," its native origins are found in Egypt, France and India. One of the premier essential oils for care of aging skin and skin that may be lacking vitality, Carrot Seed Oil contains substantial amounts of Vitamins A, B1, B2 and C. Carrot Seed Oil improves skin complexion and revitalizes dull, tired skin. The oil's high carotol content gives its tightening, skin rejuvenative properties and is said to balance both dry and oily skin.

ORGANIC CEDARWOOD (Cedrus Atlantica)

Used for centuries by Tibetan Buddhists to enhance mental strength and endurance and the most-mentioned tree in the Bible, Cedarwood symbolizes a source of protection, wisdom and abundance. Cedarwood is included in aromatherapy blends to enhance ones overall energy, helping with lethargy and poor concentration. A study found that children with ADHD who took three deep inhalations 3 times a day for thirty days found that both Cedarwood and Vetiver improved focus by 65%! In skin care, Cedarwood protects skin pores from letting in dust or any other harmful microbes into the body, which lead to acne and skin infections. ORGANIC CHAMOMILE (Matricaria Chamomilla)

Blue Chamomile has a deep, rich, inky blue essence that wraps the soul with cool comfort. While calming and deeply replenishing for many skin care issues, Blue Chamomile has a high content of chamazulene, the active organic compound of chamomile, which bears a blue color. Azulene has anti-inflammatory skin healing properties and is used in formulations to improve dry, inflamed or irritated skin. This beneficial essential oil penetrates deep into the layers of our skin where its anti-inflammatory action can restore and soothe irritated skin, burns, bruises and other skin conditions. Emotionally and spiritually, cinnamon oil corresponds to the lower chakras and can encourage self-confidence and self-acceptance and aids in clearing emotions trapped from past traumas. CLARY SAGE (Salvia Sclarea L)

One of the most known benefits of Clary Sage is its hormone-regulating properties. This makes it immensely useful in treating hormonal acne and can help balance cortisol levels, blood sugar levels and reduce depression. Clary Sage helps to regulate sebum production, toning the skin as a mild astringent and reducing inflammation assocatied with acne. Its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties make it good for managing inflammatory skin conditions like eczema, rosacea, psoriasis and more. Clary Sage can also erase fine lines and prevent premature wrinkles and balances and calms the sometimes too medicinal aroma of Tea Tree oil. ORGANIC CLOVE (Syzygium Aromaticum)

Clove Bud essential oil is an expectorant, meaning it helps ease respiratory problems, such as coughs, colds, sinusitis and asthma. Proven to be an anti-inflammatory , Clove Oil has been observed reversing inflammation and cellular oxidation (which causes aging) in scientific studies. ORGANIC EUCALYPTUS (Eucalyptus Globulus)

Eucalyptus works as an expectorant and helps cleanse your body of toxins and harmful microorganisms that can make you feel sick; great for cold and flu season. Eucalyptus is also highly effective for treating respiratory problems and is a proven treatment for asthma by dilating the blood vessels and allowing more oxygen into the lungs. Eucalyptus has antimicrobial and antiseptic properties that are effective at treating wounds, burns, cuts, abrasions, sores and scrapes. ORGANIC FRANKINCENSE (Boswellia Serrata)

A popular oil since ancient times, Frankincense has had many studies conducted and has been proven to have many healing benefits. In a research published in the 2010 Journal of Medicinal Plants, Frankincense was proven to reduce skin irritation such as bruises and sores and as an agent to soften and relax facial lines. Frankincense prevents the breakdown of cartilage tissue, making it a powerhouse choice in natural pain relief for anything that affects the muscles, joints and tendons. Circulation can be improved and symptoms of joint or muscle pain can be alleviated by massaging the oil into the skin. ORGANIC GERANIUM (Pelargonium Graveolens)

Currently used to treat acne, reduce inflammation, balance hormones and alleviate anxiety, Geranium was once used by the Egyptians in ancient times to promote beautiful and radiant skin. Geranium oil is an astringent, meaning it induces contractions and has the power to tighten facial skin and slow down the effects of aging. When used in a massage oil, it can prevent your muscles and skin from sagging and can give your abdominal muscles a more toned look. Geranium oil is antibacterial and can also be used to fight external infections, such as Athlete's foot. Because geranium oil has strong cicatrisant properties, it increases blood circulation right below the surface of the skin, helping Geranium be a powerful oil to speed up the healing process of cuts, wounds and incisions. HELICHRYSUM (Helichrysum Italicum)

With over 600 species of Helichrysum, this European herb is native to the Mediterranean area and Asia and is harvested mostly in Italy, France, Spain and the Balkans.   Helichrysum is very expensive and scarcely available, which is probably why it's not one of the more common essential oils but is one of the most effective oils available to make scar marks disappear fast. Helichrysum also heals cuts and wounds quickly and is equally effective in clearing up spots left on the skin by chicken pox, boils, acne and other skin irregularities. Helichrysum is very beneficial for emotional benefits. It can be helpful with stress, particularly anger, emotional pain or despair. It's claimed to be helpful in dealing with trauma, especially old trauma. Helichrysum can lend inner strength and the courage to see the healing process through to the end, including old emotional wounds, present turmoil or even feelings of hopelessness.

ORGANIC HYSSOP (Hyssopus Officinalis)

An integral part of Ayurveda and known as "Brahmi" in Indian Ayurvedic medicine or "water Hyssop" among much of the western world's medicine practitioners, this essential oil has a myriad of health benefits. Hyssop is known to be effective in treating skin problems such as psoriasis, eczema, abscess  and many other skin problems, such as burns. When applied to skin, this essential oil tightens the skin, making you look younger and more radiant. Hyssop not only just cleanses the skin, but it also closes skin pores and can counteract wrinkles and sagging. In Ayurvedic medicine, The Brahmi flower is known to stimulate the cerebral blood flow and cognitive learning and is used as an effective way to improve memory and mental acuity.

ORGANIC LAVENDER (Lavandula Angustifolia)

Probably one of the most common essential oils, Lavender is soothing to the mind, body and soul. Used by aromatherapists to clear up acne, Lavender also has the ability to relieve itching and reduce the symptoms of eczema. It decongests the irritated areas on the skin by adding moisture, thereby accelerating the healing process. It has been proven to be one of the few potent essential oils that can inhibit the growth of bacteria on the skin, protecting  your skin from the harmful effects of pollutants and toxins we encounter every day. Lavender is beneficial in healing burns and scars caused by burns and acts as an effective pain reliever. Traditionally used to treat insect bites, Lavender is also a good insect repellant. Excellent for treating tired muscles, especially that of the feet and head, you can rub a little amount of Lavender oil to your feet before going to bed, which will soothe your feet and also soften and hydrate any rough spots or patches on your feet. Lavender was used in traditional medicine for promoting sound sleep. In folklore, people often filled their pillows with Lavender flowers to sleep peacefully. ORGANIC PEPPERMINT (Mentha Piperita)

This essential oil has gained popularity worldwide due to its effectiveness in skin, hair and health troubles. Peppermint oil contains omega-3 fatty acids, iron, magnesium, calcium, Vitamins A and C, minerals, potassium, manganese and copper. It also contains menthol and has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and carminative properties. ORGANIC TEA TREE (Melaleuca Alternifolia)

Tea Tree oil is one of the most extensively researched essential oils. Produced from a shrub-like tree known as Melaleuca in Australia, native aboriginals are believed to have taken advantage of its many healing benefits to treat skin conditions for thousands of years before chemist Arthur Penfold discovered its powerful antiseptic properties back in the 1920's. Studies have proven Tea Tree oil to be 5.8 times more effective when it comes to overall acne severity, although only a very little bit is needed to penetrate the skin and unblock the sebaceous glands. Tea Tree will dry out whiteheads, blackheads, pimples and other blemishes while disinfecting the pores. Tea Tree's antiseptic properties help to soothe the itch and heal skin affected by eczema and psoriasis. YLANG YLANG (Cananga Odorata)

Given the name "Flowers of Flowers" for its sweet, floral scent, this oil has been highly sought after for centuries. A key ingredient in the Chanel No. 5 perfume, Ylang Ylang has been used throughout Indonesian history to decorate the bed of newlyweds on their wedding night, due to its energizing, aphrodisiac qualities. Ylang Ylang is considered an effective antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic and sedative. It has a positive effect on the immune system, blood flow and emotions, making it a natural remedy for the endocrine, cardiovascular, reproductive and digestive systems. With a naturally rich and floral scent, Ylang Ylang is considered romantic and uplifting, having the ability to positively impact emotions and creating a calming, relaxing atmosphere or soothe you through a rough day. CITRUS (GRAPEFRUIT, ORANGE, CITRONELLA)

Citrus essential oils have many beneficial health and skin benefits but have to be used in moderation and not in direct sunlight as the phototoxicity can make skin sensitive to the sun. Due to this, we only use Citrus essential oils in very small amounts and always well diluted. Although most citrus essential oils are thought of for summer, they are especially beneficial in winter months for their energizing and uplifting effects, making them the perfect blend to fight off the winter blues, cabin fever and even depression. 

ORGANIC CALENDULA CO2 (Calendula Officinalis) 

Originally from the Northern Mediterranean region, Calendula is now found worldwide and is an important medicinal plant in both Western and Eastern traditional medicine practices where it's had a long history in wound care and skin care recipes. A significant amount of data has become available through extensive scientific research. This oil is has been made available through the supercritical carbon Dioxide distillation process, imparting all of the healing properties of Calendula in a highly concentrated essential oil. Calendula helps soothe sunburns and reduces redness, diminishes swelling, prevents moisture loss and helps heal burns and wounds, encouraging cell regeneration and reducing scarring and stretch marks. COPAIBA BALSAM (Copaifera Officinalis)

Copaiba oil comes from trees commonly found in the Amazon rainforest. Harvesting is done without harming trees by simply collecting the resin that is naturally produced and then using steam distillation to extract the Copaiba. This soothing, balancing oil has a host of therapeutic benefits and active compounds that are quite powerful. Considered one of the most anti-inflammatory substances on earth, Copaiba has been used extensively by indigenous people of the Amazon's and the surrounding areas for almost everything under the sun for at least the last four centuries. Copaiba is an uplifting, soothing oil that relieves tension and improves mood. In skincare, it helps support healthy skin tissue and reduces redness, quells irritation and tightens the skin. It promotes the healing of tissues, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, blisters and blemishes and strengthens skin against lesions that appear with age. Copaiba is good for sensitive skin, blemished skin, mature skin, sagging skin, inflammatory conditions, stretch marks, fine lines, scars and wrinkles. 

MYRRH CO2 (Commiphora Myrrha)

Myrrh essential oil is highly prized for both its healing and spiritual abilities. The supercritical CO2 distillation process is especially effective for Myrrh to extract all of its important components. The name myrrh is derived from the Arabic ad Hebrew word mur, which means bitter. It's one of the oldest known aromatic substances and is mentioned as far back as 4,000 years. Egyptian women used myrrh in their facial preparations as i was reputed to reduce wrinkles and preserve a youthful complexion. An ancient 'esoteric' magical herb, Myrrh is said to bridge Heaven and Earth, strengthening the connection between our crown and base chakras and to allow the manifestations of dreams into this earthly realm. 

NEROLI (Citrus Aurantium Amara)

A beautiful and subtle floral essential oil, Neroli is renowned for its exotic ability to enhance sensual and euphoric moods. Balancing and emotionally unifying , Neroli is highly regarded in for use in skin care and one of the most effective stress relievers in essential oils. Neroli rejuvenates the skin, soothing  an encouraging cell regeneration. It helps promote the healing of tissues and helps heal burns and wounds and reduce scarring. Neroli is good for minimizing stretch marks and is good for all skin types. Neroli relaxes the nerves and uplifts the spirits and is one of the best oils to stabilize the heart and mind. VETIVER (Vetiver Zizanoides)

Known as "khus-khus"  in its native India,   Vetiver is a deeply rooted, perennial tufted grass. The grass grows well in low-laying rich marshy soils and is commonly found framing riverbanks in India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. Also known as the "Oil of Tranquility," it is a uniquely valuable plant, not only for its cherished scent but as a healer of the earth. It is an easily propagated plant that is used for regenerating damaged topsoils. Vetiver is used in over a hundred countries for phyto-remeidation purposes, helping to cleanse the environment and for preventing erosion with its abundant latticework of rootlets. Vetiver is an extremely healing oil to the body and mind. Vetiver contains cicatrisant, which are substances that seed up the eradication or disappearance of scars and other marks on the skin. it also promotes the growth of new tissues in the affected places which replace the dead and discolored tissues and helps achieve a uniform look. Vetiver is useful for stretch marks, burns, and other problem skin. Vetiver is also said to have aphrodisiac properties, enhancing the libido and arousing feelings of sexual desire. Certain components of this oil stimulate the portions of the brain that cause most sexual disorders such as frigidity, lack of libido and impotence, as sex has more to do with the psychology of the brain rather than the physiology.
