ACTIVATED CHARCOAL
Used in hospitals worldwide to treat poisonings, activated charcoal works by attaching to toxins and absorbing them before the bloodstream can. It's been proven to adsorb thousands of times its own mass in harmful substances, making it a popular ingredient in facial masks. Activated charcoal acts like a magnet to attract and absorb dirt and oil. ORGANIC MARSHMALLOW ROOT
Marshmallow Root is an herb that has been around for centuries. Mentioned in Homer's Iliad, it was used in ancient Greek and Indian cultures for its healing properties. Marshmallow Root is a demulcent herb, meaning it is cooling, soothing and slippery and often used to soothe digestion, skin or hair. Marshmallow Root should never be heated to preserve the mucilaginous properties. Marshmallow Root contains a high percentage of mucilage, which has intensive hydrating, softening and balancing properties. MEDIUM-CHAIN TRIGLYCERIDES
Our Medium-Chain Triglycerides (MCT), also known as Fractionated Coconut Oil, is derived only from coconuts as the palm oil industry is responsible for the deforestation of large parts of the rainforest. Although there are a few differences between fractionated coconut oil and MCT, they only come into play when ingesting the oil. Both are beneficial, safe and non-toxic. MCT is liquid at room temperature and absorbs quickly, unlike traditional coconut oil, making it the perfect base for perfumes and has documented skin benefits.
RHASSOUL CLAY
Also known as Moroccan Red Clay, Rhassoul clay is rich in magnesium, silica, potassium and calcium, which all work together to nourish your skin. Vanilla is not technically an essential oil, though it is often confused for one. It has sedative-like properties and can be used to calm and relax the brain and nerves to promote sleep.
