All of our formulas begin with carrier oils, which are carefully chosen and allow other oils and essential oils to be blended in. Each carrier oil has special properties that are beneficial to know when looking for skincare to address a specific issue. Carrier oils allow their healing properties to work together and when combined with essential oils, they can create a synergistic energy. Essential oils should always be diluted in a carrier oil before applying to skin. ORGANIC SWEET ALMOND OIL
Very popular in the Mediterranean region and Southeast Asia for its extensive health and beauty benefits, almond oil is mild, hypoallergenic and easily absorbs into skin. This oil is preferred for baby skin and massages. Loaded with Vitamin A, E, zinc, magnesium, calcium and B-complex vitamins, this oil gives your skin the protection and nourishment it needs, reducing signs of aging by helping rebuild collagen and deep cleaning the skin, penetrating deeply to get rid of accumulated debris and flare-ups. Because it's rich in zinc, almond oil is a natural and more effective treatment for skin rashes than prescribed zinc-based creams with no side effects.

APRICOT KERNEL
Apricot kernel oil is obtained from the seeds of apricots and these seeds contain quite a bit of oil. It is very possible that this seed has been used to extract oil since ancient times. Apricot kernel oil has been mentioned in Traditional Chinese medicine where it is used for treating tumors and ulcers. Good for all skin types and especially nice for dry or inflamed skin due to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Mature skin is given a lift with this light and easily absorbed oil.
ORGANIC ARGAN OIL
Argan oil is often referred to as "liquid gold" and has been a popular oil known for its beautifying effects for centuries. Packed iwth antioxidants, vitamin E and essential fatty acids, it's a nourishing superfood for your skin. Organ oil is highly recognized for its remarkable ability in caring of aging skin, hydrating even the driest of skin. Yet, it's also great for oily skin as it works to control oil production, balancing and neutralizing the skins natural oil production, which helps get rid of acne and blemishes. ORGANIC AVOCADO OIL
Our cold pressed avocado oil is one of the richest sources of beneficial monounsaturated fatty acids like oleic acid. It also contains high amounts of Vitamin A, B1, B2, D and E. Not only is avocado oil extremely good at hydrating and softening skin, it is highly prized for skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, blackheads and other skin ailments. Vitamin A and E boost collagen and delay signs of aging, while also lightening dark circles. Avocado oil also shields skin from ultraviolet radiation and protects skin from skin damage.

ORGANIC BORAGE OIL
Borage is a wildflower that is found in almost all parts of the world. The oil found in the seeds in valuable; it's the richest known source (24%) of the essential fatty acid, gamma Linolenic Acid (GMA). Plenty of evidence shows that when applied topically, patients with skin disorders resulted in direct improvement and clearing up of various skin disorders. Borage Oil has proven effective in restoring the intracellular moisture barrier of adult skin that is either chronically dry or has been environmentally damaged, including cradle cap on babies.

ORGANIC BLACK CUMIN SEED
When it came to the use of Black Cumin Seed for beauty to improve skin condition, Cleopatra was well known to constantly use it. Remnants of basins filled with the miracle oil were found not only in her tomb, but in the tombs of other Egyptian pharaohs as well. Research into Nigella Sativa Seeds (Black Cumin), reveal a wide spectrum of activities including anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal and antihelmenthic. The seeds are externally applied for eruptions of skin and used traditionally for psoriasis. The seeds produced a significant differentiation in epidermis when compared to control groups. Black Cumin Seed will soften, strengthen and firm skin, while minimizing dark spots and discoloration on the face and encouraging better moisture retention. EMU OIL
The emu bird is found in Australia and was first cultivated by the aborigines. The aborigines of Australia are considered one of the oldest people on earth. Cave drawings and oral history of the aboriginals date back the first uses of emu oil to over 4,000 years ago, where they first used it for cuts and wounds. Due to research, emu oil is reommended by doctors for burns, radiation treatment and even sunburns. Emu oil is natural oil, so it can't be patented and production on a pharmaceutical level is non-existent. Made up of 70% essential fatty acids, with a combination of omega 3, 6 and 9, this oil ha the ability to reduce inflammation, relieve muscle and joint pain, moisturize and treat skin conditions such as eczema, cuts, bruises, burns, dry skin and irritation. Emu oil has a powerful transdermal agent that can penetrate 2-3" deep into the skin, treating and curing many of the problems above. The flowers of this plant bloom from late afternoon to sunrise, hence its name. The oil is obtained by pressing the seeds. The root and leaves of the plant can be consumed are are known to be very healthy. In fact, during World War II, when food was being rationed, the seeds were roasted and used as a substitute for coffee. ORGANIC GRAPESEED OIL
While it may seem counter-intuitive to use an oil to treat oily skin, that is exactly what Grapeseed oil is used for. Oily skin is a reaction of skin that is to dry. Grapeseed oil is light and absorbs quickly. It effectively moisturizes the skin, balancing both dry and oily patches. Grapeseed oil can penetrate blocked pores and cleanse breakouts. Biochemical research in Grapeseed Oil has found it to be rich in oligomeric proanthocyanidins, or OPC, these flavonoids remove free radicals and promote the restoration of collagen, making your skin feel more firm and minimizing more signs of damage. Grapeseed Oil is also rich in polyphenols, which are anti-inflammatory antioxidants known to slow-down the aging process and prevent acne outbreaks. ORGANIC POMEGRANATE SEED OIL
Cold pressed from the seeds of the pomegranate fruit, this oil is a highly sought after ingredient in the finest of skin care for its potent antioxidant and as a potent source of punicic and egallic acids. Punic acid is known as "Super CLA" (conjugated linoleum acid). JOJOBA OIL
Jojoba Oil is a liquid wax extracted from the nut of an indigenous American shrub that goes by the scientific name Simmondsia chinensis. This shrubby tree still grows wild in the United States, mainly in the arid regions of the Southwestern states. Jojoba Oil is so structurally close to the secretion of the sebaceous glands in the skin that it is readily accepted and creates an effective barrier to external elements. Dehydrated skin is vulnerable to irritants that cause dermatitis and germs are constantly looking for entry points into the skin. Jojoba Oil also reduces the risk of secondary infections by preventing the entry of germs through the inflamed and cracked skin, besides offering extra protection with its antibacterial and antifungal properties. It acts as a deep cleanser, penetrating deep into hair follicles, dissovling sebum deposits and helping dislodge the comedone, cleaning out the blockage that causes acne, blackheads and whiteheads.

ORGANIC SUNFLOWER OIL
Sunflower seeds contain Vitamins A, D and E and are also rich in minerals such as calcium, zinc, potassium, iron and phosphorus. Sunflower oil is an antioxidant, nutritive and warming. It is healthy in oleic acids with beneficial amounts of lecithin and unsaturated fatty acids, making this a deeply nourishing and conditioning oil recommended for dry, weathered, aged and damaged skin. TAMANU OIL
Profoundly healing, Tamanu Oil is recommended in blends to address pain relief, wound healing, scar and stretch mark reduction. A natural beauty enhancer, Tamanu is touted as the premier carrier oil for healing scars and stretch marks. Tamanu oil promotes new tissue formation, accelerating healing and healthy skin growth, which can be thought of as a natural form of Retin-A. It promotes the growth of healthy new skin cells, a process which slows as we get older and is partially responsible for the aging of our skin. Research has shown that there was significant improvement in appearance of scars after six weeks and improvement continued though week nine.
